With No Body.
Constellation is here to tackle the mundane, technical task of archive, sound sync, conform, QC, Avid bins and delivery - freeing you to do the creative tasks.
Attach a drive
After each shoot day you simply plug in a drive with all the media. Your unit will send you an email verifying it has started work.
When you wake up the dailies will be done and delivered...
Clone and Verification
Add a backup drive and it will duplicate and verify all the latest media, sending you a detailed report to create a chain of custody.

QC and Reporting
All media is given a full QC, precise sound sync, accurate color handling and more. You'll get a detailed Clip Report that will detail everything it did, so it's easy to follow along with transcodes.

Transcoding
Reducing the demand on the GPU means the transcode engine is swift and power efficient.
Deliverables
The remarkable deliverables engine will package everything up exactly the way the editor and creative team wants it, and will upload to the desitnation of your choice.
Unplug the drive
When all the tasks have been completed Constellation will unmount the shuttle drive and let you know that it's done and ready for the next batch.

Most often the greatest security risk is the connection between a human, a mouse and the internet. It's where most trouble originates.
The Constellation Dailies platform has no human, no mouse and no interface, so it is uniquely able to reduce that risk, and many others.

Outcome Driven Workflow
Traditional software relies on knowing a lot in advance, like what the input source is, what the media transforms will be and what the output must look like. For every camera this is different, for every show it is different.
Constellation is different in a powerful new way - tell it what the desired outcome is and it will take care of everything in between. From iPhone to Arri 35 - it focuses on getting the outcome right.
Autonomous - Not Automatic
Constellation is autonomous. It has billions of neural connections to find the most efficient path between the media and the exact outcome you are looking for. It can even work around issues like missing audio files by delivering the media that has audio and leaving the media without until the missing audio is supplied.
Not Right for Everything...
Perfect for Most Things.
Constellation really prefers a slate and some order to the shooting (at this point in time). If you are a free-wheeling, capture everything and sort it out in post kinda show, this is probably not the most efficient for you.

The reason these worked is because the Data Manager and script supervisors work in sync to provide Constellation good info about each shot.
We have no desire to replace human creativity. We can handle the parts around that very effectively. One solution would be to output the media in RAW Colorspace, allowing a colorist to add their flair before sending them on to editors etc.

The editors and colorist received the same footage, the colorist supplied a LUT that the editors applied in AVID Media Composer.
